Paul Minimoto squawk on my Co-Mo Speedster

Hi all,
Not sure it's Kosher to crosspost, but here's a post I put up on the "mechanics" forum, as it isn't technically tandem. But I suspect others may have tried this on their tandems, so would welcome tandem-specific experience. Thanks!
Paul Minimoto brake squawk: any solutions?

Im sure someone in the mechanics forum will have better advice, but I always resort to towing out when nothing else works. I know it reduces braking power, but Ive never had a problem stopping with toed out brakes.

PS: Knock knock!

You mean, like the opposite of toe-in? Make a gap at the front?

You might try a brake arch stiffener, like davinci tandem brake booster - da Vinci Designs
Our first tandem was/is a 2005 Trek T2000 with a steel fork, which it looks like you have. Brand new it had a squeal from the front cantilever brakes that neither I or the shop could fix using all of the tricks such as you have tried. The shop switched the front to V brakes. Still squealed. The stiffener arch finally fixed it.

I have also had excellent results with Swisstop green pads. Good luck.

Looks worth trying. Unfortunately, they show them as out of stock.
