Suspension seat post with offset

My wife's upper legs are proportionally a little longer. This makes her fit as a stoker a little difficult at the moment as she needs to get the seat farther back then the seat rails allow. It's a brooks so we're not keen to replace that.

So, my question is: What suspension seat posts come with a decent offset?

Or, is there a way to increase the offset, perhaps with some kind of adapter?

Thanks

Cane Creek Thudbuster LT specs say it has 13.5mm of setback unweighted. But the more pre-load you dial in, the further back it gets. The saddle moves rearward as it pivots to absorb bumps. Also, I think if you wanted to move it further back you could shorten the elastomers. That would give up some of your suspension travel in return for setback, but for road riding I thing the Thudbuster LT has more travel than it probably needs, at least on roads we ride on.

How much setback do you need?

Sorry for the delay here...

The Cane Creek looks good. My wife is quite happy with the cheap up and down type we have on so spending out that much seems silly. As much as I love the look of it!

This looks like it could be the answer. And the cheapest too

A quick update: JT Tandems have just ordered a Thudbuster LT 4G. It has a newer saddle clap design and the absorbers are a completely new design. If I get I'll do a full report

It looks like the LT 4G has less setback than the 3G. 5mm vs 13.5mm unweighted. I also wonder if the new clamp can be used with ovalized saddle rails such as carbon fiber rails used by Selle Anatomica.

I doubt the rail clamp will allow that of-the-shelf...
...however, with this type of rail clamp., you can swap it for a type that can very easily.

On this SJS Cycles page, you can see that they sell the rail clamp for different types inc the oval type for carbon rails.
