I got talked in to restoring this unique tandem by the co-founder of CBS, and it's my first experience with these. I must admit even getting it on the work stand was a challenge. It was built to use in hill climbs and has fairly racy geometry, and a Reynolds 531 frame and fork. I had every intention of using the dual-canti rear brake setup, but unfortunately one of the brake mounts failed during install. Now I need to talk my wife in to attempting a test ride!
