pedal, pedal.....

Last night I took nephew for the thursday nigth local ride. He is visiting from Mexico for a few weeks. He is 17 years old and an accomplished soccer player. Needless to say he is very strong an in excellent shape.

After pulling for the first 10 or so miles and after dropping all but two exracers, we came to a point where the group usually sprints to a road sign. One of the racers jumped and attacked. The other guy remained behind us. We counter.... it was hard to pickup enough speed!. I shouted to my nephew: pedal, pedal, pedal!!. The pedals felt even harder... I tought: OK, he was running out of gas. The sun light angle was such that I could see our siluette. I could see my stoker barely touching the bars and actually leanning backwards. I shouted again: PEDAL, PEDAL, PEDAL!!!!. This time he turned his head to face backwards. What @#$@#!! ?? We ended up catching the guy but because he ran out of steam. When we had a chance to catch our breath, I asked my nephew... what he heard was: pedo, pedo, pedo!! You see, in Spanish pedo meas fart.

Funny story.

I see this forum turns sh** into asterisks, but "fart" and "pedo" remain unchanged. First I thought it was only "pedo" that would survive, but no, "fart" remains intact as well. Any lawyers here to take up a First Amendment case?
