Pretty good season for us so far. Original goal was a couple of centuries and 2000 miles. So far we've done 5 centuries and are sitting at 1600+ miles. And the Tour of Missourii even came to town. Still recovering from the shock of professional cyclists in the Ozarks on some of the very same roads we ride-who would ever have thunk it! We did the first 50 miles of Stage 4 (days before the race of course...). Also got to watch George Hincapie win the Stage 3 bunch sprint. Very inspiring to see people out cheering cycling instead of the monotonous stick-and-ball sports for a change. Who knows, cycling may catch on some day.

How's everybody else doing on their season goals etc.?

I'd set my goals but my stoker is not goal oriented!

So far this year about 2500 km on a variety of terrains, rides once or twice a week. Last night went out for the first time on the new Co-Mo for the Wednesday 45 km ride through Buenos Aires with a ragtag group of MTB riders, the Devoto's del Pedal, some of the MTBs are road bikes in an MTB frame, ride takes us through lots of city, sharing roads with city traffic and buses. Sure there are nicer rides around the world, but that is what we have to work with here, and the city has its charm. Still getting used to the Co-Mo, the Trek T100 was easier to handle at slow speeds in between traffic. Once we opened up on good road it sure felt nice though, shame you can't upgrade legs as easily, on the sprints we don't have a chance. No organized centuries down here, and not sure if stoker would care for one, 80 km seems to be her confort range, after that she gets cranky.

Hit the 4,000 mile mark; in our mid-70s, we are no longer goal-oriented. Just glad to be still turnin' over them pedals!

1,200 miles commuting to work miles + 3,200 miles on our tandem on weekends total of 4,400 miles for me this year and making it 3,200 miles for my stoker wife. No goal just lots of rides when ever we can and I commute 5 days a week as long as weather permits so far this year..

Oh, we add single and commute!, to our 2500 tandem kms sum 1200 km on my road single (two thirds of that might be transport, the other third on days when I do want to ride and stokie says no), maybe 50 km for my dearest stoker. No match for most of you but I wonder how many of you would commute or tandem in the city of Buenos Aires. Today spring starts, students get the day off and party in city parks, but it might rain hard.

My singles are getting to be seriously neglected. Review of the diary shows
that of the 4700mi this year about 2200 are on tandems, 1500 on the
recumbent and rest on single DF. We are upto 9 or 10 centuries on the
tandems, lost count somewhere, since April.

Doing pretty well. Started tandeming in late March or early April when it warmed up enough for the Mrs. I think we're just at 1,700- miles so far. Single wise, I'm at about 2,700 miles. Goals? None for the tandem. I promised no pressure when we bought it and she's taken to it better than I imagined. I'm actually quite impressed. My individual goal was for 5,000 on both bikes combined for the year. I'm on track for that one. In fact, may end up with more like 6,000.
