Unfortunatly the Strombike event this year in early June was horrible because of bad weather conditions. So I've decided to post the foto from the last year's event. We've had a lot of fun with our full-suspension tandem.

Check the sign on the wall in the background icedog, you are going the wrong way. Luckily for you and your stoker tandem teams are all pardoned by the outgoing President on their last day.

Hah....this is Miami....we don't need no stinking pardon, no street signs either. Since that pic was taken we survived, barely, our third ride. I heard a recumbent rider refer to it as a "divorce machine"...good thing we aren't married.

It has been said that wherever your relationship is going a tandem will take you there faster. http://www.theworld.com/~muller/pics...015/Selfie.jpg |

Latest ride this AM....I'm still trying to determine just what the stoker can handle in terms of distance and she was disappointed the ride was over...that's a good thing and it was good right up until the flat tire. Fortunately, my seat pack had been switched over from the mountain bike, including the spare 700 tube, and I was once again reminded just how hard it is to reach anywhere close to 100 psi with a Zefal frame pump...didn't get close but did get enough to make the last mile and a half. All's well that ends well.

Well, it's still cool that you made a third ride and survived. :thumb:
