Oh man I'm definitely going to need to get another tandem. I went in on a craigslist one with an ex and we rode it a ton but she wound up with it. My current lady friend has a very small kids one that I can try to get a picture on, but we're both VERY into bikes so I think it's a good reason to get something awesome...

Norco Cape Cod

We got this 2001Norco Cape Cod tandem for a great price. Since this pic, we've installed LED lights, fenders, new Schwalbe Marathon tires, a comfy seat and post, and swapped out handlebars for a personal preference. We ride every chance we get!

…looks like the beginning of a new hobby. Wish you always a good ride. We ride way more than I have dreamed in the beginning. Is the height of the saddle of your stoker okay? (She probably prefers it that way…) Plus a good suspension seat post could even double her enjoyment.
Have fun

Well I guess that's where she likes it till she gets used to not reaching the ground from her seat. We tried toe clips that I liberated from a mid 80's Italian racer. They had no business on that bike! She has less knee pain now that she's not fighting foot placement. Sorry, didnt intend to hijack "happy couples on their tandems" without us, a recently married happy couple. It really has been raining so much, theres no opportunity to get our pics taken on our tandem

@bazil4696, nice goin'! Many more miles to ya'.

FWIW, toe clips work just fine on a tandem but like anything involving either tandems or toe clips, they take some getting used to.

I have few pics of both of us riding, but here are two from today.

My sweetie, a.k.a. stoker, and the bike, an '82 Peugeot TH8:

And the inevitable pic of me that she takes over and over.

...ain't no mountain high enough...

We had a great tour yesterday. 140km, overland and city, fantastic weather, light luggage, but – some roadblocks.

puddles (that's easy)

bridges under construction (not so easy...)
