+1 - Awesome. Unique jerseys, classy tandem, bottles, great stoker and nice story.

Hi all, This is a picture of us on our first real tandem ride out of out comfort zone. It was a 28 mile ride in North Ga. that included some brutal hills. Lots of fun.

Whereabouts in South Jersey? I'm a native of Mt. Holly; also lived in Lumberton and Vincentown. I cut my road cycling teeth on those rural routes. I remember Jersey Jerry's apple orchards, truck fields, dairy farms, but not flower seed farms. Beautiful pic.

It is Winslow Township - about 20 miles south of Mt. Holly. Just east of here is Hammonton, blueberry fields as far as the eye can see.

I have a Huffy Tandem and a Schwinn Tandem but my wife is not an expert riding and if I take her, my guessing is that we will hit the ground very soon. But these pictures are fantastic.

Well, it's not the same back as on page 7. (old, red tandem bike that looks like a "W") It was a heck of a ride, though. We took that Bike Friday XLQ all the way from Boulder to the middle of Kansas, with a pizza stop at the geographic center of the US. (I think it took slightly longer than the 30' advertised.)

Notice that we had all of our luggage up on the rack. Talk about unstable!

I wear compression knee socks all the time. The compression helps the blood flow and reduces cramps.

Ben, I'm not sure they look like a "happy" tandem couple.

Had the Tandem since 2002 and the wife will not go anywhere near it. Considering the wet summers and the Offroad bit- I am not surprised.

But we are not too happy at this point- 65 miles of Wind and Mud were not good. When the Rain came- we went home.

We were riding the https://www.mh2d.nl a few weekends ago. Photo courtesy of https://www.beeldnieuws.nl

People tend to ask whether MTB-ing with a tandem is feasible. As of this year, we can vouch for 15 years of success so far :-)
