Pics of New Build

Took these pics before and then after the HHH last Saturday here in TX. Stokid is my 8 y.o. kiddo. Tandem's name is 'Jaws.' Yes, it has already drawn blood from me during the buildup (kinda like Christine did). Anyway, here's a few pics.

Great looking build. I love to see other Campy equiped tandems as there aren't many around it seems. Welcome to the Campy "twofer" club.

Ride safe and enjoy!

Whoa. The lad looks almost fully-extended with the pedals at the 8 O'clock position. He must really be stretching at the bottom.

I was thinking the same thing... pedal blocks might be appropriate for the next few months as he grows into the cranks. He also looks like he's just about outgrown that helmet.

Aside from that, lookin' good.

It does appear that he is fully extended at the 8 o'clock postition but I assure you he has a slight bend at the knee whilst at the 6 o'clock position. I have his seat lowered as low as it will go and the crank shorteners are barely short enough, but they do work. Here's the specs on the bike and a few more pics:

Fork: Nashbar Carbon Cross
Headset: FSA
Wheels: Dyad Tandem Wheels (Velocity Dyad hoops w/Velocity hub fore and Dt Hugi aft-40 hole)

Seatposts: Thomson w/ shim for captain's post (to accommodate stoker stem)
Skewers: Salsa Tandem
Cassette: American Classic
Saddles: Brooks B17 captain and Salsa Zona Tres stokid
Seatpost collars: Salsa
Stems: 3T captain and generic stoker stem for stokid
Bars: Salsa Bell Lap captain and Salsa Short 'n Shallow stokid w/ Cane Creek dummy levers

P.S. --Yes he does need a larger helmet for his pumpkin head!
