70s schwinn tandem for $150, worth it?
I found one on craigslist. They say it's in good shape.
I'm looking for a cheap tandem, would this be a good buy? Or should I just get a Kent from walmart for $280?
I'm only going to use it for dates occasionally, or bringing someone home from the bar, or biking with a friend, to pick up another bicycle and one of us can ride the tandem back while the other can ride the other bike.

If it's in decent shape, sure. Kinda retro, solidly built (overbuilt) not intimidating to non riders (dates). And hey, it's a Schwinn!
Good luck and enjoy.
