Maxxis Xepher Un Categorie

I see these on sale for an awesome price (close out for 24.00) and ordered a set of 700x25c to see how they'll fare as a tandem tire. Anyone ever used these tires, or know of team that has?

Howdy from Tucson:
Used Maxxis Detonnator 700x23; have 3,100 miles on front tire of tandem; rear tire suffered 1/4" glass cut at 2,000 miles, replaced it; but there was quite a bit of rubber left on it. Nice riding tire. Will use them again.
The Categorie is a notch upscale of what we used.
