My "new" 60's Gitane tandem
Mid 60's lugged French made Gitane. Picked up last night via Craigslist, got a great deal, currently not ride-able, needs alot of work but should be a fun project. 19 more pictures here: https://www.flickr.com/photos/1083633...7606969471997/

That's going to take a complete stripdown and rebuild . . . twin laterals + twins for stoker's mixte. May need some bracing between those twin tubes to stiffen up the frame a bit. Older Gitanes were notoriously whippy.
Good luck with your project!

Here is a couple of pictures. I have not seen it in person, so I can't tell you what it has for components.

Fortunately, their is no sound track. Otherwise my language when the fork boss broke would have embarrassed sailors!
