Check out the view from the stands at the Valley Preferred Veledrome in Trexlertown PA. The final one is a few shots of the track tandems the teams were riding.

Thanks, looks like dangerous fun.
I was out yesterday at the Circuit KDT (a 1 km closed road cycling loop) in Buenos Aires on a tandem with a strong stoker, we worked on some sprints, could get the bike up to 55 km/hr pretty quickly but I found it scary to deliver all that horsepower, I suppose track must be similar, you need smooth pedaling on the sprints.
I did not know there was a Team Argentina tandem. I looked up Tandemonium info but could not find much info except references to races. Can somebody expand on who/what/when organizes tandem track races? And who is Team Argentina Tandem? Again no info.

However, as to the identity of Team Argentina and the others, FixedGearFever had a pretty good article with the names of the riders.
DAN’S CAMERA CITY TANDEMONIUM FEATURING THE USA CYCLING TANDEM SPRINT NATIONALS AND “LEGENDS OF THE TRACK”
(Lehigh Valley, Pa)-- This Friday the Valley Preferred Cycling Center will host the Dan’s Camera City Tandemonium featuring the USA Cycling Tandem Sprint Nationals! Tandem sprinting—once part of the Olympic Games and the world championship program and now deemed too dangerous by the IOC and the international governing body of cycling—is one of the fastest and most exhilarating events in cycling!
This weekend boasts a strong international flavor with 11 tandem teams on the track including New Zealand national sprint team members Simon VanVelthooven and Edward Dawkins who are in town for only one more event, Hall of Fame member Gil Hatton and teammate Matt Diefenbach, Australia’s Pete Fitzpatrick and Trinidad and Tobago’s Hasseem Maclean, Argentine junior sprint champion Demis Aleman and fellow countryman Leandro Bottasso, Mike “Speedy” Beers and partner Kurt Begemann, along with a number of other riders from Canada, Australia, and New Zealand. During last year’s event, Ben Barczewski and Andy Lakatosh broke the flying one lap record so be sure to catch your chance to see if one of this year’s teams can beat their time!
