Height of Thudbuster mechanism

I was just wondering if anyone could tell me the distance from the maximum (not minimum) insertion point to the rail clamp on a Thudbuster. The tandem that I'm looking at has a rigid rear seat post and I want to be sure there is room for a thudbuster. Must keep the stoker happy after all.

Thanks you.

I don't know why I've not noticed that on their site before.

And I can verify that for the LT, having measured. This is along the seat post axis.

The ST version should be plenty for a road tandem - my wife is very happy with ours.
