Self-serving ride plug
If you're in or want to be in the Northwest Florida Area Saturday, October 16 please join us for www.fennerride.com benefitting Big Brothers/Big Sisters and the Blackwater Heritage Trail CSO. New routes this year with very little highway time.
The ride start is a little sketchy for tandems since everyone (200+) rides the first 6 miles on a 10' wide rail/ trail. After that most of the day is spent on roads with very little traffic. If you want directions on how to avoid the trail at the start please send me an e-mail.
The routes can be found on the website and at https://www.mapmyride.com. Search 2010 Fenner in Milton, FL
According to mapmyride the TOTAL elevation gain is a whopping 2205' for the century
Some of the rest stops are very close together but they are staffed by people who are excited about supporting the local cycling community.
I've been riding in this area for the past 10 years and consider the route tandem fast and friendly.
