Well after much wait, and well worth it I might add, the new Co-Mo finally made it home. Here's a really crappy picture of the bike:

I'll post additional photo's, and comments once we've had our first ride, hopefully this weekend. This picture really doesn't do it justice.

A big thanks to Pat and Lynn of Tandem Cycle Works of Colorado. They've been great, and if your in the Denver area, you really have to go see them.

Wooo Hooo

Chris & Barb

SWEEEEET!!!!!! Hauling butt on a hot tandem is the most fun a couple can have in public with their clothes on. You have definitely obtained the right rig to qualify as a hot tandem. Congrats and keep us posted.

I'm about 6' 2", my wife is 5'. The frame size is a 23x18 (large-small), which seems to fit us perfectly. I was actually suprised that we didn't have to go with a custom, being there's such a difference in our heights.

That would work with a little more stem. I am 6'4" long torso/short legs......and my KHS is a 23. Are you coming east anytime soon???

Just curious, did the folks at TCW put an additional "booster" spring on the Avid or make any of the other tweaks to fine tune the caliper?

Nope, no plans to come east yet.

Took a look at it, and it appears to be stock (no booster spring). There seems too be quite of difference in tension between the front, and rear, so it may be something I will need to do. I remember seeing that illustrated somewhere, but not sure where it was. Did that happen to be on your site Mark? If so maybe you can point me there.

Thanks,

Chris

I need to do that but haven't; however, I pulled the links out of the BF archives:

This describes and shows pictures of the 1st Generation Mods.

This is a description of the 2nd Generation Improvements.
