My first tandem that I bought around 1982 was an Andy Gilmour.
The rear was too short (as were most tandems at the time) and it was a pretty rough ride for the stoker.
It was made out of Columbus steel tubing so this one is probably quite different.

Look at how close the tire is to the stoker's seattube; this bike has awfully short seatstays.
