Cups/Bearings for Canondale EBB

Looking for advice on how we purchase the correct cups/bearings for our replacement Canondale EBB just purchased through Tandems East. We are running Truvativ Elita so are thinking we need Truvativ GPX. Problem is some sites talk about 'outboard' and we're not sure what that means. We know there is new ceramic technology available but don't really want to go to that expense if we don't have to. Also, we've read that the captain's cups are possibly different to the stoker's. Is this correct? Any advice would be appreciated.

Most any outboard bearing BB will work if your bike has the cranks to go with them. If you dont have that type, most any BB will work given the correct spindle length and type. No ceramic bearings here, they hate water, are nor user friendly. Need service every 40hrs. Both front and rear should be the same.
