On the road . . .
An updated photo of us on the road in Tucson area April 30.
Nice get-2-gether with GABA club members at a volunteer appreciation picnic at local park.
Yup, we were the only tandem there . . .
Pedal on TWOgether!
Rudy and Kay/zonatandem

Nice pic! Looks very sunny and nice there. We're finally getting the occasional good riding day here in Pittsburgh.

Seriously sloping top tube is for 'older and shorter' folks; easier to mount/dismount . . . we are 78 and 76 and stoker Kay is a 'tall' 4' 10 3/4"! She needs lower standover room and much shorter toptube/reach resulting in a 63 1/2 inch wheelbase (about 6 to 7 inches shorter than production tandems).
As for the weather, it has been in the mid-90s here and 3% (Yes . . THREE %) humidity.
Could use some of that ecxess rain that folks back east are having.

I am going to show that this thread to my stoker. We have only been tandem riding since 2006, at 53 I am looking forward to 20+ more years at least of riding together!

For deraillleur adjustment, brake adjustment, new chain, new cassette, etc., I wouldn't hesitate to take it to any bike shop for that. Or I'd be happy to look at it for you. PM me sometime. Maybe we can grab a ride together. We signed up for the 50 mile Pedal Pittsburgh this year, so are getting some rides in during the next two weeks.
