Tried out the new Rolfs today.......pretty much as expected. Transforms the bike. Easy speed and lots of it. The change to race rubber helps enormously as well of course I imagine ( michelin pro optimum 25c). Rolls along really easily now.

Either that or the christmas dinner has transformed Mrs G into Lizzie Armitstead........Can't wait for Summer

Thats a great looking Cannondale. Being a Campy user, I wish they would sell it as a frameset.

I think it must be the christmas dinner. When we swap our standard 40 spoke C'dale wheels with 28 Gatorskins for Rolfs with 25 GP4000s tyres I wouldn't say it transforms the bike. It is a little bit faster, but you make it sound like you hardly have to pedal it now.

And as far as I know, they do sell the frame only, I just got a great deal on a slightly used complete tandem, but I did ask my local dealer and they could have the frame, no problem, like it was said before, they built a bunch of frames not knowing if they will make tandems again, so you could ask your dealer.

Glad you like the change. If you changed wheels and tires at the same time it is impossible to tell how much each change helped. I think in general changing tires can provide the most dramatic change in ride quality of any part of the bike. In any case it sounds like it is all good.

I've got the same RT2, and let me just say you've done a wonderful job keeping the essence of the white / red scheme going. that bike looks sick!
