DaVinci Crankset and Gates CDC, CDX Drive

I'm assuming that this is a non-starter due to the one piece spider / chain ring on the sync side crank arm which would prevent installation of of the Gates rings correct? Or does DaVinci offer a spider which can be substituted allowing the belt drive rings to be mounted? Thanks.

Curtis

PS I'll call them tomorrow and get the info direct from the horse's mouth.

From the daVinci website:

Spiders Available
- Four Arm 104mm - 64mm
- Standard 110mm - 74mm
-Road 130mm (with 74mm triple option)
-34 tooth Spider/Chainring. This is a replaceable one piece spider/34 tooth chainring. It is lighter, less expensive (no need to buy chainrings and chainring bolts) and perfectly concentric.

Communicated with Tood at DaVinci. No problem to mount 130BCD spiders on sync. side crank arms.
