New (to me) Suspension Seatpost

Just saw this seatpost for the first time on photos of a new tandem on R+E's Facebook page. It's called BodyFloat and it's made by a small company in Bellingham, WA. CirrusCycles

Meet Charlie Heggem at the NW Tandem Rally 2 yrs. ago the wife was talking to him and she ended up doing a demo on a 80 mile loop on one of there early productions she was ready to buy, but it wasn't for sell yet. The earlier productions were quite heavy at that time. Will be interesting to see what their new carbon posts float weights and their new TI float weights. Ergon's
setback post is off the Macchiato & the Thud Buster is back on, to her Delight.

Update
The weights are as follows:
330mm Carbon = 428g
380mm Carbon = 465g
450mm Titanium= 548g (we only offer the Ti in an extra long 450mm)
Thudbuster (from their website):

LT (long travel) = 556-610g (depending on length)
ST (short travel) = 440-480g (depending on length)

Saw the fellow from Cirrus with seatpost at a ride start. Stoker is happy with her Specialized CG-R @ 200g, $200. $1/gram, what have we come to.

The Specialized CG-R that we tried and weighed was 250 grams.

The $300, 220 gm(?) Ergon CF3 Pro Carbon Setback is just now available.
