Adjusting our Bushnell Eccentric

I did a search but wanted to check in with those having more experience them I have on adjusting our eccentric. We've gotten some slack since the tune-up this spring so thought I'd give it a try, my first time adjusting an eccentric. I looked at the sheet on installation instructions on the R&E website and it looks to be a 4mm Allen Head and my Campy bottom bracket pin tool is all I'll need. Am I missing anything or any coaching, insight or cautions?

Thanks! Paul

That's pretty much it, be sure to check that there is no binding when you rotate the cranks when you're finished.
I just tightened the eccentric on my Santana Rio, you want a 1/2 in deflection in the chain when measured at the center. Sheldon Brown has a great section on tandems, as well as everything else you ever wanted to know about any bicycle.

Love this Eccentric, it was easy to adjust and retention. The only problem I had was that it shifted in the shell which I didn't notice till I had it re-tightened so needed to repeat. We took it out for a 25 mile spin last night and everything worked great.
