Thanks for the link.
I couldn't find info on the Sat + Sunday rides- length or route. (There was a link to the "post tour."

Do you have info on Sat / Sun, or do they post that later??
thanks-

chris ss, yes, there are usually short, medium, and long rides (approximately 30, 50, and 75 miles) both Saturday and Sunday, all from the mass start; and yes those will be posted later. Thank you.

3bluebikes, thank you for sharing this. My wife (Stoker) grew-up in Rockford and we are thinking about making the trek out for this.

Sorry, we can't make it.
We have ridden several MTRs including the very first one in Kokomo, IN in 1976 and also the 25th one.
We'll be there in spirit!
Pedal on!

Rudy and Kay, Thank you. Then you probably remember Tom and Sherry Masers. They also are still "recumbent tandeming" strong and have been very involved with the planning for MTR 2015.

We CATS, Chicago Area Tandem Society, had our Annual Meeting on Saturday. We tried on samples from the chosen vendor for MTR 2015 jerseys and t-shirts. They run small. Check the size chart before you order. Order the next size larger. My stoker should be a medium per the sizing chart; ordered the large. I should be 2XL; ordered a 3XL.

Good News. The MTR 2015 jerseys will be manufactured by VOmax, the same people who made the jerseys for MTR 2012 in Middleton, Wisconsin. If you like the 2012 Middleton jersey, you'll like these too.

You are right, DubT. It is expensive for many of us. But my stoker and I really enjoy being with so many like minded riders; seeing all the different tandems, triples, and quads; and being a part of the police escorted mass start on Saturday and Sunday morning. Riding along with over 300 tandem couples is really a treat. Enjoy your Labor Day week-end tandem ride where ever you ride.

We have been contemplating a September tandem trip from our TX home to Trempealeau Co., WI. This would be a slight diversion but we will be driving anyway so it doesn't matter. September is a good time to take a break from the TX heat.

Is there any way to do a "drop in" for just one of the rides without registering for the whole event?

TwoinWI, Registration will set up your identification badge for rest stop refreshments and lunch on Saturday and Sunday and make sure we have your emergency contact information. Also, we need to have you read and sign the liability release. We hope you will register, ride, and enjoy.
