The following are the planned overnight stops in order:
Freeport, Palacios, Victoria, Kenedy, San Antonio, Seguin, Lockhart, La Grange, Navasota, Sealy, West Houston, Home via the San Jacinto Monument.
Historic Sites:
Galveston, Goliad, San Antonio Mission Trail, The Alamo, Gonzales, Independence, TX (where Sam Houston attended church following the Texas war for independence), Washington on the Brazos, San Felipe, and San Jacinto. The planned route takes us along the coast between Galveston and Freeport. We will also pass the South Texas Nuclear Plant between Freeport and Palacios. The planned route takes us through downtown San Antonio and downtown Houston.
