Visiting Austin - Training Suggestions

I'm visiting downtown Austin in a couple of weeks, for the week and would like to do a few spinning class to keep up my training. Last time I was there I tried one of the MANY "spinning" gyms, which turned out to be less cycling spinning and more... what's the name... Rhythmic Spinning Aerobics. No knock against those, but I'm looking for an actual spinning workout.

Any suggestions?

Check out the Mellow Johnny's bike shop. They can probably help you.

Maybe ride a bike? Good hills in the area, weather is warming up.

Eric, understand that you might not have a bike with you, but if you do - or can borrow/rent one - Austin does have a few places where you can 'train'.

Bike Rentals in Austin Area

Rentals ? Austin Bike Tours and Rentals

Rental Department - Bicycle Sport Shop - Bike sales, service and rentals. Austin, Texas

Bike Rentals, Austin Tour, Barton Springs Bike Rental, Austin, Texas, TX

Or B-Cycle, Austin's bike share program:

Austin B-cycle

Also, some sort of social ride nearly every day of the week.
I would much rather ride around central austin than find an indoor gym and spin.
