ACTION: Sign Three West Houston Trail Petitions

Short: Please sign (and share) these three petitions for trail construction!

Mason Creek Trail Extension

Westheimer_Access_Trail

FM 1093 Trail

TLDR: As we go into grant season, we've got a number of trail projects under development in west Houston. Three of them have reached the point where an online petition is up and running and we're trying to attract support. A more detailed description can be found in each petition.

Locations for these three projects.

Mason Creek Trail Extension to Katy Asia Town

Westheimer Access Trail, extending the George Bush Park H&B Trail south to Westheimer.

FM 1093 Trail from Westheimer to Barker Cypress

Thanks for the support!

I've added the Westheimer Access Trail to the post above.

There is no commitment involved on any of these petitions. Change.org asks for money but don't give them any. The petition starter (me in two cases) can see names but not email addresses. I can send a status email to people who sign via change.org but I can't see email addresses.

If you live in Texas (or Iowa!) and might one day visit, sign the petitions please. The connection formed by the Westheimer Access Trail and the FM 1093 Trail will link about 30 miles of trail (by 2024) on Brays Bayou with about 30 miles of connected trails in the Buffalo Bayou drainage. Being able to do an out-and-back century within easy reach of dining and services is getting closer.....

Petition counts help demonstrate public support.
