Anyone else get a ride in today?

I got in a few miles, had planned to go down to White Rock Lake, but the path was just too nasty after all the weather the last week and a half. Full write up here:

https://www.bikeforums.net/road-cycling/262528-my-first-day-rollers-how-i-decided-go-out-ride.html

(For those like Botto who have an attention span of a gnat, there's a short version a couple posts down, but I'm sure anyone smart enough to be living in the southwest has enough brain cells to get through my decently long post. )

HELL YEAH!!! It was great!!! After being couped up in the house for almost two weeks, today's ride made me realize how much I truly love cycling. Only 8 of us plus a tandem team showed up this morning. We took it easy and had a great, pretty relaxed ride. I don't think we even averaged 17MPH. We did 45 miles through Sachse and Rowlett.

Yep...stay off the paths until they have a chance to dry out and de-scuz though. You'll live longer.

Looking forward to getting back on the commuter in the morning. I don't have any issues with the cold but that black ice last week was way too scary.

man I wish I had...but there was to much to do around the casa...stuff to be cleaned and a ton of Christmas stuff to be put up, that had been sitting on my pool table...not to mention there was some football to be watched.

Got a ride in on the roads today. One layer on bottom and one on top with a vest. It was great.
