I would not (and so would many folks on the MTB forum) reccomend a full suspension under $1,000 USD. The parts would suffer due to the extra costs of a full suspension frame, and usually the design is inferior and just a basic design when compared to the 1k+ kinds. Hardtails in the same price range as the entry full suspension will most likely have better parts. As for the brands, I have heard of both, but I would be a bit skeptical riding a Fezzari (did they want to sound like Ferrari? heh) than the IBEX. For price, the Iron Horse brand is a lot better. What is your price range..I know a few websites with great value for entry level.
