lewisville to plano by bike?

So I'm heading out to Plano Cycle to try out a Giro 26 on a long test ride. I wanted to ride my xtracycle so I was hoping someone might know the roads a little better then I (not knowing them at all)
Is parker road or parks blvd possible by bike? There doesn't seem to be any other routes when I look on a map without going way out of the way.
I tried bikely but all it has is plano routes to the east and south not west where I am coming from.

When I worked in Allen, I would ride Park Blvd to Hebron Pky & 121 every Friday. My indoor soccer team played at American Indoor, behind Sonic.

You should be fine.

Taking Taking the hike up to Parker when you hit Midway might be a good idea, I find it a little less traveled than Park as you go through Plano.

You might try the DORBA commuter forum. There are several folks who live up that way

Thanks for the advice the ride worked great. It was little to no traffic getting over there but ick getting back was pretty busy and I was hitting the side streets as best I could. X-Mas shopping out of control!

They had sold the Giro 26 I was going to look at yesterday but let me take out a strada for a nice long ride. It was pretty nice but the road bike x-tra lite wheels put that out of consideration. Well worth it though. I put almost 80 miles on my xtracycle today in about five and a half hours. 64 for double oak to plano and another 16 for going to play raquetball with the wife and to diner.
