I will be out of town, so won't be able to make it, but it looks like a fun time riding up and down Memorial Drive.

I am down for it, though I might have to check for any outstanding tickets. Funny though they have recently stepped up bike patrol in montrose which is pretty cool. Another time I busted bike patrol at the mtb trails at memorial park doing action shots, that made me giggle. I support the blue heck they have given me a few free rides downtown.

Like to jail or they loaded your bike on their bike rack and gave you a ride somewhere else?

Jail, had to learn the hard way about paying speeding tickets in a timely manner. In my early twenties I didn't always make the best decisions to say the least. Going to jail over such an avoidable reason was really lame on my part.

Will doing this ride fix my karma for heckling "the blue" at the HPD vs HFD hockey games?

No. You're still gonna get a boot on your car.

I'm really going to try to be there. My brother's a 20+ year veteran officer of HPD. He gets to sit at a desk downtown now, but he did go through the departments bike course.
