Largest Bike Shops in North Texas
I'm a big fan of Richardson BikeMart due to it's size. I can pretty much hang out for an hour looking around. Only problem is that it's about an hour or so away. Another decent size shop is Bicycles Plus in Coppell. Not huge, but decent selection of things.
What are some of the shops in DFW that have the best selection?

I tried to get price from richardson bike mart and they were 400 dollars more than every other store I looked at. I think they are a rip off.

Sommy, are just looking for some of the other big shops around?
Or are you looking for a nearby LBS to you? You didn't state your location, but I'd say check the phone book and visit the shops nearby and find one you like. Most shops can order most anything you need. Not as good as seeing in advance, I know.

I'm in the Southlake area. I found some good shops close by, but they don't carry the selection that Richardson does. Just wondering if there are any other shops with the selection of RBM in the DFW area.

Well I inquired about a Surly LHT at RBM and they said it would cost me $1400 bucks. Not sure what that is about. I was also looking at the lower end Treks and they were prices $100-$200 more than the smaller shops. It seems like they could offer a deal being as large as they are but they don't. I bought a bike from them about ten years ago and I hate to think about how much I was ripped off.

I would like to also add that they are always helpful and never rude. Good customer service but there pricing seems so high.

Bicycles Inc in Bedford (on Harwood) is pretty big - they just moved into a new location.... not sure how it compares with RBM, but it's a whole lot closer to SL.
