Sunday Hill training anyone?
On Sunday I'm going to do 60-80 miles, overall 17-20mph pace. I wouldn't mind some company if anyone wants to come out. I plan to get as close to 4k of climbing as I can get. I'm either going to do the 20 mile texas time trial loop out in Cleburne forwards and backwards (includes goatneck hill), or I'm going to go to Glen Rose and ride to Bluffdale and back.
Anyone game?

I'd be interested in something like this, but don't have the time this weekend. If you're planning to do this again soon, let me know.

Not a problem. I'll be changing the length, but I'm going to be doing as much hill training as possible between now and June, as I'm competing in RAO as a two-man team. 40k of climbing.

Where is the Texas Time Trial loop start? In Cleburne ? I am not familiar with the area though not too far.

I need to work on hills too, but not big hills.
As for the TTT course, there's a map on last year's website:
https://www.tt24tt.com/map.html
There was quite a bit of discussion about the amount of traffic on that course, so it's not necessarily an ideal course that way.

I ride it all the time. Its a great training loop and also part of quite a few fwba and lone star randonneur routes. Never had a problem with it.
