I know this event is "rain or shine" and I'll be there whatever the weather, but will the planned routes and distances be modified for a really wet day?

I haven't heard of any changes thus far. To my knowledge we're still putting out all the route signs as originally planned, dark and early tomorrow morning.

I wanted to ride today, but ended up pulling a muscle and am limping around today. It's not bad, but I'll need to rest to race this week.

Enjoy the day out there guys. I'm gonna be slowly working into recovery today.

That was a great, if slightly wet ride. I was right in the front and was by myself for a while and then ended up pacelining for around 78 miles, then fell off the back and took it easy from there on out. Managed 5 hours 6 minutes at 19.6 (for 100 miles)

Thanks to Margaret for a great ride!

It was a really good ride....glad we got a break with the weather. It was my first century since 1983 so I was pleased with my 17.8 average speed and that I was still upright at the finish. I'll definitely be back next year.

I enjoyed the ride. Did the century...threw my chain in the first couple of miles, but ended up with a 3-man paceline, averaged 19.2 and finished in 5:14 cycle time...thanks Ed and Bill. We arrived back before 1:00 p.m. to find all of the food already gone...the only real disappointment of the day.

Food was gone by 1:00? I had a full meal after 2:30 or so. Pasta, chicken, salad, hot dogs, hamburgers, corn and choice of drinks. Thats weird?

Would seem that our timing was bad or we didn't know where to go...great ride anyway. I'll do it again next year unless I bite the bullet and do HHH.

Likewise on the food....there was still plenty between 1:30 - 2 when I staggered over there. Alas, no pie or ice cream though! Do any of you know if any photos have been posted on the net? I saw a lot of cameras out around the rest areas and some of the turns.
