Major Taylor Commemorative Ride
Joy from Boones was at the shop I work at printing up some materials for this ride last night. Thought I would pass along the word, Saturday at 8am 30 miles.

How did the ride go? Joy had asked me to go on the ride, but I did not plan to do this one, because we had puppies due Friday or Saturday. Well, the pups kept their date, but sadly, they did not make it.

Yes it was a nice day for a ride and I ended up winning a gift certificate in the raffle also
. Real friendly group of people, very laid back. Kind of surprised of how small a turnout there was though.
The ride went south then east and looped back, I think, I was really half awake through most of the ride. Didn't have any coffee before hand and only slept like three hours before the ride. Woke up at 7:30am and still managed to bike there and register before the start.
Sorry to hear about the pups.
