Cycling in Austin Survey For UT Senior Thesis

For survey accuracy purposes, I would ask that only current, or former, Austin Residents take part in this survey. Thank you.

I'm a senior at UT and am conducting a survery about cycling in Austin for my Senior Thesis project. This is a 25 question survey that will take less than 10 minutes to complete and is entirely anonymous, no personal information will be collected. I need to get as many people to take this as possible so as to obrain a decent population sample so that I have good statistics to back up my claims on my paper. I would greatly appreciate it if you would take the time to complete this survey.

Thank you.

Good luck. The problem I see here in the DFW area is that about 50% of cyclists are recreational cyclists on road bikes, and the other 50% are riding Walmart mountain bikes on the sidewalks the wrong direction. That second 50% probably doesn't spend much time in online bike forums, so your sample is not too likely to be truly representative in that respect.

that's quite a sampling problem you have there.

you might also try posting on txbra.org and see about interviewing people on busy streets near the campus / downtown.
