Austin: I need a place for the summer

For this summer I'm trying to get an internship at Livestrong so I can work my way in and secure a job there once I graduate from Penn State. The main thing for me is housing. Is there places i can stay at for cheap over the summer? This is one of a few places I'm going to issue my resume to for internships over the summer, and the one I'm most passionate about since I co-ran THON (Penn State's pediatric cancer org.) at one of the branch campuses.

Any info is appreciated, thanks!

PS: I'm not talking about people's houses.

There are a couple of hostel type places, notahostel.org is one, around Austin that you maybe able to check out. I have not stayed at any of them so I cant say stay at them or not. You may want to check out staying in surrounding towns, they are still close enough to commute in and still save money on rent.
