Parade in Fort Worth

Every year, the Fairmount Historic District on Fort Worth's near southside does a historic home tour. They kick off the weekend with a neighborhood parade, and this year I participated, riding my vintage Raleigh DL-1 (unintentional self-portrait)

There were some older cars

But the parade was dominated by bikes

The parade had two "queens"

They are guys I regularly ride with.

More bikes...

It was a fun way to start the weekend.
I stop for people / whose right of way I honor / but not for no one.

I hate that I missed it, but there are medical conditions that make other seating more suitable than a bicycle seat.
