Spokes for Folks "wrench day" Sat Jun 18, Dallas

re-posting for a good cause:

=============
Spokes for Folks Wrench (bike rebuild) Day this Saturday, June 18, 2011 from 8 AM until noon or so.

We have several groups needing any bikes we repair and we have received quite a few bikes lately. We will be working in front of the warehouse and in the air conditioned rooms of our Sun-kist Pools offices, first come first to get inside. Come help build bikes for those who might not otherwise be able to afford the joy of cycling.

Spokes for Folks
10660 Plano Rd. St. 126
and the Warehouse behind the front buildings
Dallas, TX 75238

8:00 AM until Noon or so

No experience necessary! You can come learn to wrench with more experienced individuals or help organize parts, clean bikes, run quality control if you don't want to wrench. There are jobs for everyone and all volunteers are more than welcome! Bring the kids they are always a big help! Give the joy of cycling to others!

If this is a regular thing , with a little more than 3 day notice, I would be glad to come lend a hand. I live on the far west side of Fort Worth, so schedule is an important item for me. I can build, repair or help instruct, what ever you may need.
