Rentals near DFW
 

I will be in the DFW area for about a month and would like to rent a road bicycle on weekends. Does anyone know of a good shop that rents in the area?

Several, where will you be staying?

Marriott in Irving. DFW North on Freeport Parkway.

The closest bike shop to where you're staying is Bicycles Plus (Coppell) http://www.bicyclesplustx.com/ but I'm not sure if they rent bikes.

Richardson Bike Mart is about the biggest bike shop in the area and they have a huge selection of rental bikes http://bikemart.com/ Unfortunately, they're about 20 miles from where you're staying, which is either three bus transfers or a big cab fare.

What size do you need?

there is a new shop in Irving that rents bikes http://thebikeshopatlascolinas.com/ Small shop but they have quite a few bikes. They are near Campion trail so good riding near by

Hey guys, Thanks for the replys but I just found out the training I was coming down for has been delayed 2 weeks and moved to Montreal. :( The upside is that I can drive my own vehicle and easily take my bike, the bad news- Quebec winter. Thanks again for the replys.

Thanks for beginning this post. I came on here to ask the same thing and got my answer. Be there the last week of November.

I live 2 miles from that Irving bike shop (and didn't know it was there!). Let me know if you have any questions about roads or whatever when you get here.
