Thumbs down *attn houston* stolen yakima roof rack

Hello fellow cyclists. I just wanted to let you all know that I had my yakima roof rack stolen off my car last night. It was locked on and another person in the garage got hers stolen as well.

Please keep your eyes and ears peeled if you would and let me know!

Condolences

Condolences to you both.

Have you been able to figure out how they got the rack off the car when the cores were locked?

I'll keep an eye out on Craig's List...

No, I'm not really sure how they did it. There was another person in the garage who had their rack stolen at the same time and there are some deep gouges and scratches under where the foot of the rack sits on the roof so I guess they just stuck something underneath and pried the rack off the roof. I would be really curious to know exactly how they did it.
