Lightbulb Bike Across Texas 2015

I'm starting a ride next year that will traverse Texas, starting in Orange at the Sabine River, and finishing in El Paso at the Rio Grande. This ride will coincide with the BPMS150 Houston to Austin, starting 2 days before, and continuing on the Tuesday after.

This ride will pass through the piney woods of east Texas, Coastal plains, Texas Hill Country, and on through West Texas through the Chisos Mountains. We'll have bike transport and sag support. I'm working on accomodations.

This will be purely non profit. Motivation for this ride will be for the personal challenge of riding 850 + miles in 10 days.

I'd like to hear from those who have an interest in participating in this "bucket list" magnitude event.

This sounds like a big event. I wish I could ride with you. I would need to convince my wife first. Keep updating the forum on how this going.

Have you visited I would suggest you create a journal of your ride.

Not sure if you have seen this, it might be another option to consider. The Spinistry organizes some great rides in North Texas and I am sure this will be a top notch event.
