Pearland has been elected for this week's ride. You've pigged out on turkey Thursday, Friday and Saturday. Come and burn some energy with us on Sunday morning. We will be rolling out from Academy, in Pearland, at 7AM. The route is about 48 miles. The pace will be somewhere between 15-20mph most of the ride. After considering the red lights and stop signs (that we will be stopping at) our avg moving speed should be less than that. It has 5 pretty good climbs over bridges so be ready for that.

A lot of the route is 2 lanes in each direction so we will be able to have our own lane and can ride 2 abreast. Brookside Village is 1 lane each direction so we will need to be mindful of traffic and ride single file. It is a low speed limit through there so we shouldn't be doing too much harm to them. When we get into Shadow Creek, we will check out some of their "master-planned" bike routes. these may be full of parents with their children or dogs. If that's the case, then we will be going slow and just enjoying the scenery. If it gets too bad then we will abort the trails and back onto the street.

*The route may be getting tweaked throughout the week so keep that in mind. We want to have our own lane as much as possible but we also want to see some scenery.

**If you have any concerns please let us know.

Also, if you have someone visiting from out of town that wants to ride, I have a 60cm older cannondale and a 52cm older Quintana Roo that they are welcome to use. I can just bring them with me.

What a beautiful day it was. That was a great ride. We added a couple extra miles so that some of the guys could say that an even 50 miles was their longest to date.
