We'll be there as part of the Ready2Roll training series. Haven't done it before - looking forward to it. You should have put this in my Houston Area Rides thread!

It's a great ride...lots of good hills. Really nice route too. If we are lucky, the wildflowers will be blooming earlier than last year. If so, this ride goes through some of the best roadside wildflower viewing in the state.

I'm trying to get my MS150 team to take part in this as a bit of a training ride. Plus, I can get some great sausage and pork chops for dinner afterwards.

Yep. The Chappell Hill Sausage Company store is always a stop for us on the way back to Houston.

I will second that. Traffic will start to back on onto 290 very quickly. Get there early and avoid having to park way down the hill and walking a long ways through wet grass to the sign-in table.

Great ride. the 63 mile route has more climbing than any day of the MS150. Make sure you save some energy before the last 8 miles back into Chappell Hill as you have to climbing back to the finish area. Weather looks perfect.
