Bike Friday New World Tourist Expedition Touring Bike + Trailer LARGE
I am selling my Bike Friday New World Tourist folding bicycle along with the suitcase trailer and lots of extras. The bike folds into the suitcase and can be checked as a regular luggage with airlines with no extra fees. The suitcase then becomes a trailer to carry all of your gear while touring.
Asking $1800 for the lot.
This is a size Large and would be best for someone 5'10" to 6'3".
This bike includes a bunch of great Bike Friday extras. This will give you an idea of what it would cost new....
-Bike Friday New World Tourist ($1850)
-Bike Friday Drop Split Handlebars ($85 option)
-Shimano Bar End Shifters (price ?)
-Bike Friday FlightTravel case ($285 option)
-Bike Friday Trailer ($229 option)
-Bike Friday Front Folding Rack ($125 option)
-Bike Friday Rear Rack ($139 option)
-Bike Friday Fenders ($60 option)
-Bike Friday Travel Bag ($79 option)
-Brooks Handlebar Tape ($79)
-Schwalbe Marathon touring tires
-The photos show a Brooks saddle, salsa water bottle holder and ortlieb handlebar bag mount which are not included
and more..... you get the idea.
I can be reached by replying here or by email at Rich@ (mywebsite which is listed in my signature). Email is probably best. I live in San Diego and will gladly invite you to our home to try the bike. We live right next to Balboa park so you can come and give it a good test ride in the park. Alternatively, I can ship it to you if you live far away.
We bought it with the intention of using it on a European/Asian tour that did not come about but we were featured in the television commercial below while I was riding the bike.

Thanks for asking. At the moment I would not want to split it up. I'd prefer to sell it as a package.
Certainly a PM would work, though I don't check all that often so my email would be best.
