Rain, Rain, go away!
You heard me!
Well, I have decent gear for 95% of my body. I am still on a quest to find a good pair of shoe covers/booties that are water resistant. The one LBS that has some decent ones don't have my size. I don't know if I want to spend 40 bucks + shipping on some Pearl Izumi Amfibs. They sure do look sweet though. If you guys know of any proven brands of anti-rain shoe covers, let me know. Dave |
I bought a pair a couple of years ago that are completely waterproof.
I put them on, go riding in the rain, they fill up and not a drop leaks out. |

Well, I just got some of these after riding through the rain to the bike shop today. I'm just fed up with wet shoes taking too long to dry. I do plan to bring along sneakers as an alternative, but I had to find something to protect my cycling shoes.
40 bucks. A little spendy. Maybe the weather will be freezing too and I'll get my moneys worth. Dave Pic: Gator neoprene shoe covers. |
Interesting looking things though not exactly a fashion statement.:p
Happy feet = happy rider. |
