I don't have a garage, but lets take a tour of my apartment. Shall we?

Back porch: ?mid '90s TREK 8700zx carbon fiber/aluminum bonded MTB. Mostly LX. Front&rear racks, nokian studded tires, nifty butterfly bar. Covered, needs a major tune up.

Kitchen: '00 57cm Quintana Roo Borrego, Dura Ace, cxp 30 rims. Spare cosmos wheels. Nifty road bike-not TRI geometry. I've worn out the big ring.

Kitchen hallway: '00 Waterford "adventure bike". Front&rear racks, full fenders, Schmidt dino hub. Combo LX/105 group.

Bathroom hallway: ?'99 Bianchi Reparto Corsa Megapro XL. Dura Ace, Chris King Wheels-Giro 'd Italia Team replica paint (mmm).

Living room: '01 Bianchi Reparto Corsa pista. Track geometry/fixed gear-SUPER FUN!

If we go to the basement (watch your head on the banister!) we shall see:

-mid '90s Raleigh R300. Front&rear racks, full fenders-8spd (tiagra/sora). A very comfy ride, albeit neglected as of late.

-unknown black British bike (?Robinhood), set up as a "beater/bar" bike. Single speed (freewheel), brakes, cut flat bars.

-?mid '80s Koga Miyata tourer-lugged. Rear rack, shorty handlbar bag rack(nitto-ish), fenders, generator. Pending updated component build, or restoration w/"new" old school components. Pretty decent as is though.

-Pile o wheels. Spare trainers, commuters, and a MtB set.

-Pile o tires. Mostly badly worn take offs or odd sizes for the "beater/bar"&Koga.

Back up on the third floor, we have my storage/work room. Chock full of all kind of bike bits, wheels, components, tools I've collected/swapped out. Also storage for all my hiking/backpacking "stuff". It seems the only thing I'm in dire need of (yet haven't gotten around to buying) is a nice work stand.

Ohh, and for my cyclo-phobic friends, I've left the office and bath completely clean/free of any biking bits!

Moxfyre,
If you live near one of the coasts they are usually readily available for under $2k. I inherited mine from the company I work for The one I have is aluminum with an office built into the front end of it and it only cost me $160 to have it dragged out to my place

Mine is a 40 footer. IIRC there is not much difference in the pricing. I have found the best deals...when we needed to buy them, by walking in to a location and asking what they had and how much Rental places like Williams-Scotsman or Neff Rentals are alway seem to have a few for sale, look in the phone book under storage rentals.

That's awesome, someday I will seriously look into that. I would love to have a small building to devote entirely to bikes

We've got a few hundred containers in the yard at work, but it's kind of hard to sneak one out. I need a 20 footer to move back to the US, but I want the 40ft for storage. That sounds like a pretty sweet setup.
