I carry far fewer clothes. For instance,

Just one jersey, and one cotton off-bike shirt
No underwear
One pair of wool riding socks (second longer pair for colder weather)
One pair of padded shorts liners
one pair of riding shorts (from convertible pants)
Legs from convertible pants^^
Wind shirt
Base layer, hat, and down jacket for colder weather.
Rain jacket (but no rain pants in warmer weather)
No extra shoes

Just answering your question... Presumably you wanted others' experience to inform your own decisions. Otherwise what would be the point of sharing what clothes we bring on a tour.

If I am just riding, no stops where I would be a normal person. I carry about half what you do, one does not need 4 of anything. 2 is normally enough. It hasn't really anything to do with weight, it is just the way stuff works. I wear sweats below, converted to bike use with crotch insert. I don't wear shorts, no mater how hot it gets. I usually have a pile jacket. I have cycling shoes/sandals, and crocs (great for showers, swimming, hanging out, getting out of the tent at night. Rainwear. My rainwear is cycling specific and my shoes, everything else is regular wear.

I could see carrying a pair of lightweight jeans and a backpacker blazer if I was trying to look civilized.

I think 4 socks is a good idea. Two on your feet and two extras.

I carry much less clothing...

-2 jerseys
-1 pair convertible pants
-1 pair hiking socks
-3 pair cycling shorts

-Down jacket
-Goretex shell jacket
-Goretex shell pants

Wearing Keen sandals nearly eliminates the need for socks. Since you're in USA you'll be passing laundromats on the daily.

Way too much! You don't need 4 of anything while touring. One or two is more than enough of an item. Ditch the bicycle tech stuff and buy wool.

I'm not sure why you're asking for opinions and then rejecting them. Plus ditch the homeless thing it's getting old and boasting about your kit that costs thousands is very disrespectful of the other less fortunate homeless people in the world.

Please be serious. You're kit costs thousands you're not living on $953.40 without other support. I realize that your life is tough and that you aspire to to be a bicycle tourist, and I'm on your side, but please be serious & honest.
