Fry eggs on the asphalt?
Seriously, that's got to be one of the most stupid ideas I've ever heard for a trip. Way over 100 degrees every day (maybe 95F at night), heat stroke and dehydration are real possibilities, and very few water sources in mid-summer out there. Stay by the coast and do short summer trips, maybe get a job to earn a few $$$.

Flying and Riding
Yeah, it's gonna be hot... I've seen it regularly cool DOWN to 105 at night in the Indio area, humidity under 10%, wind 10-20 steady. All combined it's very difficult to drink enough liquid. I've done similar near Barstow; best to ride pre-sunrise to about 11 am, hide in somewhere cool, then ride again from 5 pm till dark. I actually waited until after dark to start riding but I had a nearly deserted stretch of road for 30 miles. I carried 4 gallons of water and most days it was barely enough.
A huge factor will be how well you acclimate to the hot/dry/windy conditions. Do a lot of exercising in the desert for a few months prior and enjoy the ride!

You may as well ride up along the Salton sea, go to Joshua tree and camp out there. Not many campers in summer. No killer bee issues at cottonwood springs camp, and there's water available.
+1 Yeah, ride sunrise or pre sunrise and take a siesta during the hot part of the day. Ride another few miles in the late afternoon when it cools off a bit. Bring crazy water capacity. Pack some ERG or whatever electrolyte stuff because you will need it after flushing your system with a couple gallons plus of water everyday.

So now everyone who posted to this thread has to update their response, because you totally reversed your season for touring? What's up with that?
Seriously, if you're planning that far in advance, you can at least spend some time thinking about what you're going to ask. I realize that you've got some issues, but it isn't fair to everyone else giving and taking advice from this forum.

You've already asked the same questions about SoCal desert camping in your previous thread about a desert trip this winter, which I suppose never is going to happen now.
Why do you want everyone to waste their time answering the same exact questions?

LOL
OMG it's not like anyone has to answer or update if they don't want to.
Just help out if you can, if you can't than ignore it.
So simple!

I have to ask why he's repeating the same questions over and over.

It seems to be a bunch of overthinking to me. Hell, I don't even have plans for next Thursday. I get my retirement check in 13 months, and, am going for a long ride then. I've got all the stuff......just need funding.
But, it might be fifteen months. Or eighteen months before I set out.
I have plans, with a timeline.............but I WILL not set a specific date that far in advance.
Just a learned practice that eliminates the anxiety of approaching due date and the letdown when it's not possible to happen.
Flexibility goes a long way in dealing with mental issues.
YMMV
