Always notify your credit card company if you are going to be traveling out of your 'home' area especially if going out of the country - Doing so will alert them to card usage from a not-usual location as being 'normal', otherwise they may put a 'block' on your card usage as suspected fraud.

As stated by others this is not an RFID. It's the new chip that many banks are now using. This chip requires it be inserted into a reader. Most large banks including Bank of America are issuing to add security.

No need for an RFID wallet when using these chip cards issued by the big banks.

My guess is the guy who bogusly told you need a protective wallet swiped the mag-strip (that's still on the card) and sold your data

Sorry! Sometimes I don't understand your posts. I thought you were telling everyone to buy a wallet because your card with RFID was compromised.

I understand your circumstance and realize that you too are self aware in that respect. Its with that understanding that I feel you should be cautious when starting threads. Also when other knowledgeable persons respond it's best to listen rather than reply with bogus information.

I always feel it's important on forums to write as if talking face to face with folks, let's keep it friendly, don't see the harm in that.
